a touch of boho

I’ve always loved some good ol’ American Apparel, which is where I bought these High Waisted Shorts but I was recently introduced to Motel Rocks by a YouTuber, named Sarocha, after watching a haul of hers. (Side note: I absolutely love her style and totally recommend her channel and Instagram page.) I fell in love with the site and it has since become one of my favorite online stores. I immediately purchased this Off-the-Shoulder Top along with a few other pieces that will for sure be featured in future posts.

As for the details of this outfit, they were both given to me as gifts and are no longer sold online. So, attached are a bracelet and ring set to the corresponding stores that I think would look good with the outfit, even though they are not exactly the same.

Additionally, I should confess that an embarrassing amount of my clothing shopping (and most shopping, besides food) happens online. I cannot express how much easier it is than going in the actual store. There is something so overwhelming about entering a Forever 21 and not knowing where to start amongst the vast amount of clothes or attempting to file through the overstocked racks while shirts are falling off their hangers (let me know if you feel the same). Ignominiously (totally used a thesaurus for that one, not gonna lie), I could probably write an entire post purely about the pros and cons of shopping online and another about all the weird things that I’ve bought. For example, I once purchased 100 lollipops off of amazon…totally don’t regret that one. Lastly, I’m ashamed to say that it has become a bit of an addiction, but at least it makes it easier to link each of the pieces in my posts to their websites, right?
